Whether it's sharing another culture's food with new friends, watching international films, taking our intercultural certificate program, or enjoying the events of the annual International Education Week, our International at Home global engagement programming can take you around the world – without the carbon emissions.

We also encourage you to meet virtually with a Global Engagement Student Ambassador (GESA) to discuss more ways you can be globally engaged.

Financial Assistance

There are a variety of internal and external scholarships and awards available to help you offset the cost of going abroad, including scholarships offered by host institutions. Be sure to review them to see if you're eligible!

Career Guidance and Resources

At the Laurier Career Centre you can learn how to make the most of your international experience to help build your career in Canada or abroad. A career consultant can provide you with one-on-one guidance to help you with your resumé and job search, interview preparation, and connecting your international experience with your career goals. Workshops and events are offered throughout the academic year and cover topics such as how to market your international experience and how to build a professional network.
