About Foundations at Laurier Brantford

Foundations is a set of four courses that are designed to give every student at Laurier's Brantford campus skills and knowledge that will help them in their university courses, in their careers, and in their lives as engaged, responsible members of our global society. Unique to the Brantford campus, the Foundations program is based on a model of core programming used at elite universities.

Foundations gives you the intellectual context and scholarly skills to succeed in any program you take, and the flexibility to thrive in any career context that requires the ability to contextualize and define a problem, to use information professionally, to think quickly and critically, and to communicate clearly and effectively.
