Microsoft Teams
Teams is an open, digital workplace platform that combines chats, meetings, notes and attachments. It incorporates other Microsoft 365 applications to make work visible, integrated and accessible for all students, staff and faculty.
All undergraduate and graduate students have access at no cost. This subscription is not available for continuing education students or alumni.
Update (Nov 2023): Microsoft has announced that classic Teams users will be automatically updated to the new Teams after March 31, 2024. Learn more about the new Teams desktop app.

Log in to Microsoft Teams using your full username and password.

Using Teams
To message other students in your classes, friends and even your professors to ask questions.
- Simply enter their name or email address in the Search bar at the top of Teams.
- Select their name.
- Send the message.
When using Teams, you are expected to follow the Terms of Use that you agreed to when you first opened the application and are subject to Policy 9.1 Use of Information Technology.
Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
You can use your Teams account for personal use, provided such use does not:
- directly or indirectly interfere with University operations or services;
- violate the Non-Academic Student Code of Conduct, Student Code of Conduct: Academic Misconduct, or Use of Information Technology Policy;
- misuse access to names and/or email addresses visible within O365.
Misuse of Teams will result in the suspension of your access to Microsoft O365 products.
