Are you starting your Laurier undergraduate experience in September 2024? Orientation 2024 is full of can’t miss events for all new first year Golden Hawks.
Laurier Undergraduate Orientation will occur during your first days on campus. Schedules will be updated throughout the summer.

Join us as we kick off the new school year with a bang and welcome students back in style with the one and only Two Friends!
Live at Waterloo Park on Thursday, Sept. 5. Doors open at 6 p.m.

The Dean of Students Office is happy to provide complimentary transportation for Brantford students to attend the Two Friends concert on Thursday September 5. Seats are limited and will be offered on a first come, first served basis to students who have already purchased a ticket from the Students' Union.
The bus will depart from Carnegie Building at 5:20 p.m. sharp and bring students to University Stadium for the concert.
The bus will depart at 10:30 p.m. sharp and will head back to Brantford.
Orientation is one of your first opportunities to experience what it means to be a Laurier Golden Hawk.

Orientation is in partnership between the Wilfrid Laurier University Students' Union and Wilfrid Laurier University.

You can expect to build connections with people in your program, on your residence floor or in your off-campus community. You'll get to know your campus, learn about resources to support you and have some fun along the way to name a few, but here are a few other things you can expect.
Orientation offers events for everyone.
There are programs geared towards your academic success, social belonging, and learning what it means to be a Laurier Golden Hawk. Some examples of past programming include Student Success Sessions, Trivia Nights, Headphone Disco, Carnivals, and more.
Orientation is completely free for new first year Golden Hawks.
