Congratulations and welcome, Golden Hawk! From the time you accept your offer until the first week of classes and beyond, we're here for you. 

Laurier 101 is a campus-wide program that provides exclusive content to you and your supporters to prepare you for the time you'll spend at Laurier both inside and outside of the classroom.

We'll assist you with the course registration process, show you how to navigate the world of university learning and help you understand what it's like to be a student in the Laurier community. Stay connected and stay golden as you prepare. We're so excited to meet you.

Laurier's network of student support is here to help you navigate the steps to becoming a Golden Hawk, so you arrive in September feeling prepared to thrive.

See the checklists to make sure you're staying on track. We have a variety of supports to help get you ready for September, so be sure to join us online and check them out.

Course Registration

There are a lot of options to consider when creating your first university class schedule. Check out our resources to help you through the process.


Prepare for registration. Attend a course registration webinar in June, review the Course Registration Guide, create your class schedule and attend registration preparation drop-in hours if needed.


Register for your Fall and Winter term courses. Registration opens for first year students on June 22, 2022 at 3 p.m.. 


Get your registration checked by an Academic Advisor through the course registration check form after you register. The form will be available here on June 22 at 3 p.m..

Join your Laurier 101 hosts and chat with senior students to gain insights about what it's really like to be a Laurier Golden Hawk! Beginning in July, we'll have weekly themes to help you learn about Laurier and prepare for classes.

Summer Webinar Series

We know you have questions and we've got answers! Our summer webinar series begin in July and aims to keep you informed all summer long.

Get Oriented!

Orientation Week (O-Week) at Laurier is a long-standing tradition that kick-starts your time as a Golden Hawk. Senior students, called icebreakers, will be there to support you and guide you as you transition to Laurier.

O-Week 2022 information will be available over the summer. Keep checking the O-Week website to stay up-to-date.

Laurier 101: First-Year Community Profile

Over the summer there will be opportunities to meet other students and campus groups that align with aspects of your identity or communities you are interested in learning more about or joining.

The Laurier 101: First-Year Community Profile lets us know what you're interested in so that we can send you specialized information and invites this summer.

Community Connections Week

Join us in July at our virtual socials for a chance to connect with senior students, learn more about our student collectives and opportunities to get involved on campus.
