There are a lot of options to consider when creating your first university class schedule. Check out our resources to help you through the process.
1.
Prepare for registration. Watch a course registration webinar recording, review the Course Registration Guide, and create your class schedule.
2.
Register for your Fall and Winter term courses. Registration opened for first-year students on June 22, 2022 at 3 p.m..
3.
Get your registration checked by an Academic Advisor by emailing them directly using your student email and including your student ID number.
Academic Prep Week was held Aug. 15-19, and is designed to set you up for academic success in your first year and allow you to experience what being a university student is like. We covered how to prepare and adapt your skills for university level learning. Missed a session or want to review workshop and mock lecture recordings or online modules? You'll find these are more resources on our academic prep week webpage.
The Academic Preparation Certificate is available to all incoming students and includes a collection of modules and activities to help you get ready for your academic life at university. By completing the Certificate, you are not only setting yourself up for success in your first year, but you can also add the certificate to your Laurier Experience Record to help you prepare for future co-op or work opportunities.
Your student's first year at university will no doubt be a journey of many new experiences, and we know that you are eager to support them through each milestone.
Our students.wlu.ca website is your gateway to all the information you need from registration and finances to student life at Laurier.
There's a lot going on. We got you.
Let's share the #LaurierLove with other incoming students. Follow Laurier's social media accounts to see what our community is up to this summer.
