Our Student Success team will walk you through what you need to do in the month of August to be prepared for your fall start.
Check out our University Preparation Modules designed to help you build a strong foundation for academic success and feel ready to make the most of your time at Laurier.
These self-paced modules cover key topics like Academic Preparation, University Calculus Readiness, Academic Integrity, and Generative AI Literacy. You'll also explore Consent is Golden 101 where you'll learn about supporting a safe and respectful campus environment.
There is a lot to consider when you're selecting your university courses. Follow the tips below to make sure you're prepared for course registration day.
It's all about the preparation! Here are some things that you can do so you're prepared for when registration opens.
Now that you're all prepared, it's time to complete the registration process. Registration for incoming first-year students opened June 25, 2025 at 3 p.m. ET.

Join us July 21-24 for Get Connected Week for interactive online events to connect you with the Laurier Community!
Attend our sessions during the week of August 18-22. These sessions are designed to set you up for academic success in your first year and allow you to experience what being a university student is like.
We know you have questions and we've got answers! Our summer webinar series begins in July and covers topics including financial supports and pre-arrival considerations for international students!

If you’re a self-identified Indigenous student, we’d love to have you also join us for SEEDs, our Indigenous Student Orientation event at Laurier!
It’s a great way to meet other Indigenous students, explore campus, and get ready for the year ahead. Each Orientation includes fun community-building activities, campus tours, and helpful workshops on writing, time management, and budgeting strategies.

Want help navigating campus before fall 2025 classes begin? Sign up for a tour in July or August to discover the best study spaces on campus, learn about campus departments and resources, and ask questions to a fellow Golden Hawk.
Tours will begin Monday, July 28 and are first come, first serve. You must register for a tour to attend. The last day for tours will be Wednesday, August 27.
We are unfortunately unable to offer tours on the Milton campus this summer due to construction. Experience tours will be offered on Wednesday, September 3rd as part of Orientation. We look forward to welcoming you this fall!
