Israel Entrepreneurship Exchange Application Form

The Lazaridis School of Business and Economics invites entrepreneurial and globally-minded students to apply for an entrepreneurship exchange in Canada and Israel in August 2020. This opportunity is open to first and second year students who have demonstrated knowledge of business and entrepreneurial fundamentals. Students must complete one of the following pre-requisites before the exchange:

  • ENTR100
  • ENTR200
  • SE200
  • SC200 

The course runs from Aug. 14 to Sept. 4 (TBC) with approximately one week in Canada and two weeks in Israel. This opportunity allows students to earn a course credit while engaging in approx. three weeks of entrepreneurial and cultural experiences in Canada and Israel. The exchange includes up to 18 Laurier students and six Israeli students. The course includes: interactive workshops, guest speakers, site and company visits, cultural and tourist experiences and travel in two of the world’s best entrepreneurial ecosystems: the Toronto-Waterloo corridor and Israel.

Expenses and Application Details

All expenses are covered for air fare, ground transportation, accommodations, entrance fees, and some meals during the trip. Students pay course tuition and a $1,000 fee.

The application deadline is Friday, Dec. 6, 2019 for Laurier students. If applying, complete the following form and forward two reference letters (one academic and one non-academic) to etwells@wlu.ca prior to the application deadline.
