    Spring Course Registration

    Print | PDF

    Whether you're looking to catch up, get ahead or complete your progression requirements, taking a course (or more) over the warmer months may be a great option.

    Did you know that Laurier offers three academic terms from May to August? You can choose to take 6-week courses in the intersession and summer terms, to earn credits faster than during the typical 12-week spring term length.

    The term dates for 2026 are outlined as follows:

    • Spring term (12-week courses): May 4 to Aug. 14, 2026
    • Intersession term (6-week courses): May 4 to June 22, 2026
    • Summer term (6-week courses): July 6 to Aug. 22, 2026

    Course Registration Resources

    As you think about registering for courses during any of these three terms, it is important to consider your personal schedule this summer,  what courses are needed to meet degree requirements, and any course load requirements for OSAP (if applicable).

    All three terms' course offerings can be found under Spring 2026 while browsing and registering for classes on LORIS. Click “Advanced Search” to add filters, such as subject, campus, year level and mode of delivery. You can use the part of term filter, using Full/Half term labels, to view courses offered in one of the specific three terms.

    View the Course Registration Playlist and reference the Course Registration Guide  for support and resources. If you're unsure which courses to take, we encourage you to connect with your academic advisor.

    Once registered for any spring, intersession, and/or summer term courses, be sure to:

    • Confirm important dates and deadlines specific to each term;
    • Learn more about how Laurier charges tuition and fees; and
    • Pay your invoice before the deadline associated with each term.

    If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Service Laurier  for support.
