First-Year Program Requirements: Faculty of Science (Virtual)

  • If you decide to take a second and/or third course in the Fall, register in PARA200 and/or PARA201

Course Load

To earn an Honours BSc Paramedicine Degree, you will need to complete 10.0 credits:

  • 0.5 credit: Normally conducted over one term
  • 1.0 credit: Normally conducted over two terms

As a part-time student, you can take up to 1.5 credits per term. 

GPA-Based Progression and Graduation 

Academic decisions are made upon completion of a minimum of 4.0 credit attempts. To progress from year to year in BSc Paramedicine, you require an overall cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 4.0 (C-). Graduation requires a minimum GPA of 7.00 in all Paramedicine (PARA) courses, and a minimum overall GPA of 5.00.
