Student success teams made up of professional staff and student mentors offer assistance with mathematics, study skills and writing development. Most of these services are delivered in small virutal groups or in individual consultation settings, and are designed to encourage the sharing of ideas and peer learning.

Learning Skills and Development
Learning Skills and Development is an integrated academic support service focused on helping students develop the skills they need to excel in all areas of their academic life. By engaging in workshops, scheduling a one-on-one appointment, or working with peer mentors, you can learn how to take better notes, practice better study strategies, manage your time and improve your oral and written communication skills.

Access Laurier Brantford's Learning Skills and Development Online in My Learning Space for helpful handouts, interactive modules, discussion groups and the Live Classroom.

Study Skills and Peer-led Course Support
Study skills cover important study strategies such as time management, critical reading, active listening, note-taking, study aid development and test-taking preparation. We also provide weekly peer-led study sessions where you work in groups to review difficult course concepts, discuss theories and complete practice problems.
