High School Credits

Need a prerequisite to take a particular course? Are you looking to either upgrade or obtain a high school math credit?

You may want to contact your local Board of Education (Ontario listing) to see what's available in your area.

An additional option would be to complete the high school course by correspondence. See the Ministry of Education's Independent Learning Centre for further information.

If you need credit for the Ontario Grade 12 Advanced Functions course, then Laurier's Department of Mathematics will also accept successful completion of the Mathematics Assistance Centre's non-credit course, TriAGe: Preparation for University Calculus, as an equivalency.

The Waterloo Region District School Board has a few available options for obtaining high school credit:

The Waterloo Catholic District School Board offers similar programs through its St. Louis Adult Learning Centres.

The Grand Erie District School Board has a few available options for obtaining high school credits. Tthe following links will take you to the appropriate section of the school board website, which contains information about which courses are currently available and how to register.

The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board offers similar programs through its St. Mary Catholic Learning Centre (day classes, night classes, or by correspondence)
