Cyber Awareness Month Logo Design Contest 2025 – Win a Laurier Hoodie!

Overview: 
In celebration of Cyber Awareness Month this October, we are inviting members of the Laurier Community to participate in a CyberHawk Logo Design Contest! Submit your original logo design between October 6 – 27 for a chance to win a Laurier hoodie and have your work featured as the new CyberHawk logo for our cybersecurity team. 

How to Enter: 

• Design a new CyberHawk logo that represents cybersecurity awareness at Laurier 

• Submit your original design to us in PNG or SVG AND your working file from Adobe Illustrator (.AI) or Canva 

•  Send your submission to ictannouncements@wlu.ca before October 27, 2025

• Submissions must be sent through your Laurier email address

Design Guidelines: 

• Your logo should reflect themes of cybersecurity, digital safety, and Laurier branding 

• Designs must be your original work and created by you 

• Logos must be submitted in vector format to be considered and the working files must also be provided 

Judging Criteria: 

• Creativity and originality 

• Relevance to cybersecurity and Laurier branding 

• Clarity and scalability of design (must look good at both small and large sizes) 

Additional Rules: 

• By submitting a design, you grant Wilfrid Laurier University the non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use, reproduce, and modify the image for promotional and educational purposes 

• The university reserves the right to make slight alterations to the final design if necessary
