Non-residence parking permits available
Fall 2019/winter 2020 non-residence (white) parking permit applications for the Waterloo campus are now available to apply for online. The white permits are for students not living in residence who require day parking only.
Please note that you must wait 24 hours after you have registered for courses to be able to apply for a permit.
White Permit Types
The following three permit types are available. You may only purchase one permit type. If you have any questions, please contact Parking and Transportation at parking@wlu.ca or call 519.884.0710 x3032 during office hours.
Waterloo Non-Residence Parking Permit
Cost: $318.31 (plus HST)
This fall non-residence parking permit is valid from Sept. 1, 2019 to April 30, 2020. The charge for this permit is billed to your student account. You will be emailed when your permit is available for pick up. This permit is applicable to the various white permit lots around campus.
Waterloo Non-Residence SWAN Permit (New)
Cost: $238.73 (plus HST)
We are now offering a specific non-residence parking permit for lot 48 (SWAN). This new SWAN (lot 48) only permit is valid from Sept. 1, 2019 to April 30, 2020. The charge for this permit is billed to your student account. You will be emailed when your permit is available for pick up.
Please make yourself aware of the lot location before purchasing this permit. If this permit is selected, no exchanges will be offered for an alternative parking lot and no waiting list will be available.
Waterloo Non-Residence Waiting List
Cost: $159.16 (plus HST)
This non-residence parking permit is valid from Jan. 1, 2020 to April 30, 2020 (winter term only). The charge for this permit is billed to your student account. You will be emailed in January as space becomes available. Once waitlisted, permits will be issued on a first come, first served basis, pending availability.
Applying for Permits
To apply for these permits please go to wluparking.com and login using your Laurier network credentials (ie. smit1234 + password).
It is your responsibility to purchase the correct permit. Any future changes will be pending availability. In addition, please make yourself aware of the parking rules and regulations.
Once you have successfully completed the checkout process, you will receive a confirmation email in your MyLaurier email, please ensure that the information that the permit transaction is accurate.
If you have already requested/applied for a permit you will be emailed to your MyLaurier email mid-August with instruction as to when your permit is available for pick up at the Parking Office.
