Virtual Anti-Black racism healing spaces, workshops open to Laurier students, faculty and staff
Wilfrid Laurier University invites Laurier students, faculty and staff to register for the virtual healing spaces and workshops led by the Centre for Student Diversity, Equity and Inclusion in response to anti-Black racism and recent events in the U.S.
The Laurier community is not immune to racism and inequality, but if we can be heartened by anything, it is by the participation of so many, across all sectors of society, calling for organizational and public policy changes to address systemic and anti-Black racism.
At Laurier, we are committed to taking direct action, providing necessary resources and infrastructure, and holding ourselves and others accountable to work toward racial justice.
Your Laurier email address is required to register in the following events on Zoom. Questions about the events can be sent to diversity@wlu.ca.
