Make the most of your summer break

Revisit Your Hobbies
If you're taking the spring term off, we encourage you to take advantage of extra free time to spend on hobbies you might have not had as much time for during an academic term.
If you're taking classes this summer, try to schedule in free time for yourself to fend off burnout. Schedule in the time for you to work on knitting, art, running, puzzling, or whatever hobby you indulge in.
Enjoy the Weather
After a long winter, it's finally time to soak up some vitamin D.
The list is endless, but here are a few of our top outdoor activity picks for you to try out this summer:
- Hit the beach.
- Go camping or visit a cottage.
- Explore a new hiking trail.
- Visit an amusement park.
- Try out water sports (kayaking, paddle boarding, etc.).
Find a Summer Job
If you're taking the spring term off, you may already have a job lined up.

Get Active
We hear it all the time but it's actually a fact: exercise is so beneficial for your well-being and mental health.
Try joining a sports league, club or intramural team to connect with your community and stay active.
Whether you're into basketball, soccer, volleyball or any other sport, there's likely a team waiting for you to join in on the fun.
Become a Volunteer
Looking to give back to your community this summer? Become a volunteer at an organization.
Check out local organizations for volunteering opportunities, especially any that interests you or is in your ideal career industry.
Volunteering not only enhances your resume but also provides a fullfilling and rewarding experience.
