Cold Weather Kit donation drive, Nov. 4 to 15
Laurier Special Constable Service (SCS) is collecting donations of items to include in Cold Weather Kits to help people in the Brantford, Waterloo and Milton communities who may be experiencing homelessness this winter. We need your help!
Item Drop-Off
Between Nov. 4 and 15, drop items in donation boxes located on our campuses in the Special Constable Service office, FAM Office, Dean of Students Office, Residence Life and Wellness Centre.
Items Needed
Most needed items:
- socks, warm hats, gloves
- rain ponchos, heat packs, flashlights, small or emergency blankets
- gift cards for Tim Horton's or the dollar store
- protein bars, snack bars
- dental packs, hygiene packs (soap, shampoo, toothbrush)

SCS works with SOAR Community Services and House of Friendship to create cold weather kits using donated items. Any remaining items are provided to partner organizations to assist with their programs.
