Celebrating inclusivity, creativity and self-expression: Winter’s a Drag returns to Laurier Brantford Jan. 22
Laurier Brantford invites students and community members to a night of free entertainment celebrating inclusivity, creativity and self-expression on Jan. 22.
The annual Winter’s a Drag event has been a Brantford campus favourite since 2022, bringing some of Canada’s top drag artists to the Sanderson Centre for the Performing Arts stage.
This year’s show features the return of Winter’s a Drag alumni Xtacy Love and Manny Dingo, while performers Eboni La’Belle, Lucy Flawless and Destiny Doll will make their Brantford debuts.

Several performers from past Winter’s a Drag events, including Virgo Queen and Makayla Couture, have gone on to compete in the reality television program Canada’s Drag Race.
Open to students, alumni, staff, faculty and members of the community, Winter's a Drag will also feature giveaways, a photo booth and meet-and-greet opportunities with the talented performers. Admission is free.
Winter’s a Drag is presented by the Brantford campus experience lead and funded by the Wilfrid Laurier University Students’ Union, Hawk Team, Wilfrid Laurier University Alumni Association and Student Alumni Association.
