    Print | PDF

The 49th annual Brantford Santa Claus Parade will spread the festive spirit through the heart of our Brantford campus on Saturday, Nov. 29. Cheer on the very merry Laurier group that will be marching among the floats, community organizations and local businesses parading through the downtown, beginning at 2 p.m. at Dalhousie and Stanley streets.

Laurier spectators and their families are invited to stop by the One Market Kitchenette (OM207-46) for hot chocolate and treats from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. The parade concludes with a Parade After Party at Harmony Square (89 Dalhousie St.). Free parking is available in the municipal parking garage located at 59 Icomm Dr.

The following roads will be closed for the parade and parade staging. Sidewalks will remain open for pedestrians:

    • Dalhousie Street will be closed from Stanley Street to Brant Avenue for the parade
    • Colborne Street will be closed from Brant Avenue to Clarence Street for the parade
    • Dalhousie Street to Colborne Street, including the following cross streets: Icomm Drive, King Street, Queen Street, Market Street, George Street, Charlotte Street, Clarence Street, Alfred Street, Park Street, Peel Street, Murray Street, Brock Street, Drummond Street, Rawdon Street, Wellington Street and Stanley Street
    • Stanley Street from Grey Street to Colborne Street
    • Marlborough Street from Stanley Street to Park Road North
    • Sheridan Street from Stanley Street to Park Road North
    • Chatham Street from Stanley Street to Park Road North
    • Nelson Street from Stanley Street to Park Road North
