The 2026 National Survey of Student Engagement is underway

Wilfrid Laurier University is currently administering the 2026 National Survey on Student Engagement (NSSE) to all first-year and graduating undergraduate students. Students will be invited through their My Learning Space to participate in this online survey.

All Ontario and many other Canadian universities are participating in the 2026 NSSE. The survey takes about 20 minutes to complete. Students completing NSSE will be automatically entered in a draw to win one of 10 $100 Laurier Hawk Shop gift cards.

We encourage you to complete NSSE, as it provides valuable feedback on your academic and student life experience. Laurier uses the survey results to identify areas for institutional improvement, program accreditation, and reporting for government commitments.

All responses to NSSE will be kept strictly confidential, and participation in the survey is completely voluntary.
