- Full-term courses: Requests must be submitted within the first 14 days of the term, no later than Jan. 20.
- Six-week courses: Requests must be submitted within the first seven days of the term, no later than Jan. 13.
Requests for religious accommodations during the winter 2025 final exam period can be submitted up to seven days before the final day of classes for undergraduate students and 14 days before the last day of classes for graduate students.
The last day of classes for the winter 2025 term is April 4 for undergraduate students and April 11 for graduate students. Submission deadlines are as follows:
- March 28 for undergraduate students. Requests are submitted through the Student Request for Accommodation for Religious Observances form.
- March 28 for graduate students. Requests are submitted through the Request for Religious Accommodation or Extension to Complete Coursework form.
Submitting your request before the deadline ensures that your accommodation will be considered and, if granted, you will not be charged a deferred exam fee. Your deferred exam will be written on a slip day at the end of the final exam period. This information will be communicated to you by the faculty petitions committee.
