We are delighted to see Dr. Nathalie Freidel's research featured on the Faculty of Arts research
pages. Dr. Freidel is currently in Paris co-curating a major exhibition at the renowned Musée Carnavalet in Paris to celebrate the 400th anniversary of the birth of Madame de Sévigné. Indeed, Dr. Freidel is considered
the leading world expert on Sévigné's writings. Laurier Languages students will benefit from her expertise as Dr. Freidel will be running our travel course: FR289: Paris was a woman this June. Students will enjoy a range of activities in Paris, including a private guided tour of Versailles by one of the palace's curators. Laurier students will also be the guests of honour at the Sévigné exhibition and will attend two days of conferences organized by Dr. Freidel at the Musée Carnavalet: "Paris, cité des femmes au temps de Sévigné." Many congratulations Nathalie!
