Multimedia Equipment

Equipment is reserved on a first come, first served basis, to Digital Media and Journalism students with a valid OneCard. Malfunctioning equipment must be reported. Any lost or damaged equipment must be paid for by the student. Normal wear and tear is expected.

Nikon D3300 cameras are reserved for JN261 students (Fall Term) and JN423 students (Winter Term).

Students must return equipment on time or face a penalty: 25% off their current project.

Sign-out times: Monday – Friday 8:30-9:30 a.m., and 4-5 p.m.

Equipment must be returned the following day by 8:30 a.m., or in the case of weekends by 8:30 a.m. the next business day.

All equipment is to be picked up from and returned to the Laurier Brantford ICT Department, RCE 110.

  • Olympus Digital Voice Recorder DM-520

    • Allows students to record interviews for print.
