    MAC Project Marathon (W2026)

    Tuesday April 21, 2026 (12PM to 3PM)

    One Market-Brantford

Project Marathon Winter 2026 event showcased MAC (Master of Applied Computing) Coursework students projects. More than 20 projects divided into categories of Research, Design, and App/Website/Game were presented by the students using posters/computers. 6 judges from academia and industry evaluated and ranked students projects in different categories and winners were awarded prizes. Judges and other audience were really impressed with students projects, especially the range of topics (e.g., cybersecurity, AI, quantum, networking, data analysis, apps/websites for community service in Canada, cloud, waste management etc.,) these projects covered. Participating students thoroughly enjoyed the event as they received fruitful comments from the judges/audience as well as being provided with this opportunity to interact with other fellow MAC students. Light refreshments were served to the audience, and certificates were given to all participating students.
