    Calendar Description

    First order differential equations; linear differential equations of second and higher order; methods of undetermined coefficients and variation of parameters; Laplace transforms; power series solutions.

    MA101 or MA103.

    Evaluation

    A final mark out of 100 will be calculated as follows:

    • Laboratories: 20%
    • WeBWork: 10%
    • Tests (Sept 24, Oct 6, Oct 20, Nov 3, Nov 17, Dec 1, at the end of the lectures): 40%
    • Final exam (2.5 hours; exact date, time and location to be announced): 30%

    The final mark will be reported as a letter grade in accordance with the conversion table of the current undergraduate calendar.
