Economics Program Transfer Request Form
Complete this form if you are eligible and wish to be considered for a transfer into one of the following Honours Economics programs for the upcoming academic term:
- Honours Economics
- Honours Economics and Accounting
- Honours Economics and Financial Management
- Honours Economics with Research Specialization
- Honours Economics and Financial Management with Research Specialization
- Honours Economics and Data Analytics
To be eligible, you must be current Laurier undergraduate student registered in the Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Human and Social Sciences, Faculty of Science, Faculty of Liberal Arts, Faculty of Music, Lazaridis School of Business and Economics (BBA, BBTM), or Martin Luther University College. Students requesting a transfer to Economics from other faculties are primarily considered after the winter or spring terms.
If your program transfer request is approved, you may add an option by submitting the Program Selection Form.
If you are currently registered in one of the Honours Economics programs listed above and wish to transfer from your current program into another Economics program, confirm your new program using LORIS from March 1 to April 27. Outside this time frame, current Economics students can request a program transfer using this form.
- Winter consideration: Opens April 1, closes May 5 at 4:30 PM (decisions by mid- to late-June).
- Spring consideration: Opens July 1, closes Aug. 15 (decisions by start of classes in fall term).
