Course registration dates and times are based on the number of credits you've completed or are in the process of completing, including transfer credits, to determine your year level.

Note: The time ticket that is generated by LORIS cannot be adjusted. Your time is considered firm/final.
At Laurier, your year level is based on the number of credits you’ve completed, not the number of years you’ve been enrolled. This impacts your registration date, the courses you can register for, and eligibility for certain course levels.
Year level can be viewed through LORIS under Student Services > Student Records > Display Student Program > Select Term.
It’s possible to have a split year level. For example, being considered Year 1 for the Fall term and Year 2 for the Winter term, depending on how many credits you’re completing in the current term.
The system will automatically update your year level multiple times per day as you register in more courses. If you're encountering restrictions for Winter term courses that require a higher year level, it may be because your current registration hasn’t yet triggered the system update.
Tip: Continue checking LORIS regularly. Once your registration meets the credit threshold for the next year level, your access to additional courses should open.
Your personal time ticket tells you the date and time you can start to register for your courses.
