Food Services 2020/21 FAQs
Please note that food service operational plans for the 2020/21 academic year are subject to change based on the most up to date guidelines set by Public Health officials. Email laurierfoodservices@wlu.ca if you have any questions, comments or concerns.

Will food service locations be open this school year?
The Fresh Food Company and select locations at The Terrace Food Court will be open this 2020/21 academic year with dine-in and take-out options available. See below for our hours of operation.*
Fresh Food Company
Monday to Friday
- Breakfast: 7:30 a.m. – 10:30 a.m.
- Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
- Dinner: 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. (8 p.m. close on Fridays)
Saturday and Sunday
- Brunch: 9:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
- Dinner: 4 p.m. – 8 p.m.
The Terrace Food Court (Mobile Order Only)
Monday to Friday
- Williams Café: 8:30 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Union Market: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- El Torito: 10 a.m. – 8 p.m.
- Harveys: 11 a.m. – 8 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday
- Williams Café: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Union Market: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- El Torito: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- Harveys: 11 a.m. – 7 p.m.

What health and safety measures will be in place at Fresh Food Company?
To align with Public Health guidelines, we are temporarily pausing self-serve stations and will offer both dine-in and take-out options to encourage social distancing. Our hours of operation have been updated to include additional cleaning and sanitation procedures between meal periods.
What health and safety measures will be in place at The Terrace?
To align with Public Health guidelines, we are temporarily pausing self-serve menu items at The Terrace Food Court. Some items that were traditionally self-serve, such as the soup and salad bar at Union Market, will be available in one of our ready-to-go or served options instead. Additional cleaning and sanitization procedures will be completed during our operational hours to ensure your safety and comfort while dining with us.
Will I be able to dine indoors?
Fresh Food Company
Indoor seating has been limited to 33 maximum capacity - we encourage guests to take-out meals wherever possible.
The Terrace Food Court
Indoor dining is not permitted.
The seating arrangement in our food service spaces are subject to change pending public health guidelines.
