SEEDS Program

Our SEEDS program is a scholarship incentive program to help you succeed at Laurier. If you self-identify as an Indigenous student entering into your first year of study at either the Brantford or Waterloo campus and fulfill the requirements below, you’ll receive a $250 scholarship each semester to help with your school expenses.

To participate in the program, you must:

  • Sign a responsibilities contract.
  • Attend an orientation session (upon acceptance into the program).
  • Meet with the Indigenous student support coordinator two times per term (fall and winter).
  • Maintain a 5.0 grade point average (on the 12-point grading scale) per term (fall and winter).
  • Enrol in and complete four classes (2.0 credits) per term (fall and winter).
  • Complete four program activity requirements per term (fall and winter).
  • Complete an end-of-term evaluation (fall and winter).
