International Orientation

Each term, we host International Orientation (IO) events and programming to help you get the best possible start to your time in Canada and at Laurier.

Fall 2020 International Orientation

International Orientation for fall 2020 will be a bit different this year. Even though we won't be able to welcome you in person, we have planned some great virtual activities and events to help you have the best possible start to your time at Laurier.

All our IO programming has integrated into the Orientation Week (O-Week) schedule. This way, you can attend the events just for international students while also enjoying all the great activities planned for all first-year students.

International Orientation Schedule

All International Orientation events will be hosted on Zoom. Join the event by clicking on the event title. Be sure to set up your student Zoom account before IO starts! You will have to activate your account before the event starts.

Once it's activated, use Google Chrome or Safari as your web browser when using Zoom and sign in with the same user name and password you use when accessing your Laurie email or LORIS.

If you have any problems with Zoom, please email zoomsupport@wlu.ca in English and include your name and myLaurier email address.
