Laurier 201 For Second-Year Students logo

Congratulations on Making it Through Your First Year!

It presented challenges that no other first-year class has ever navigated but each of you showed extreme adaptability and resilience. Whether you have already been to campus or fall 2021 will be your first experience, we are here to give you the orientation experience you deserve.

Laurier 201 is a campus-wide program designed specifically for second-year students. This exclusive program will set you up for success both in- and outside of the classroom. We will provide you with opportunities to connect with your peers, faculty members and the greater campus community to help you understand what it’s like to be a student on or off-campus.

Get Set Up for Second Year

Whether you've lived in residence last year or this is your first year on campus, we have curated this list of resources to set you up for success in your second year.

Welcome Kit Pick-Up

If you couldn't make the kick-off weekend and need to pick up your welcome kit, you can come to campus and grab it at your earliest convenience.

Brantford students can pick up their kits at the Dean of Students Office in One Market 207-40 from Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m - 4:30 p.m.

Waterloo students can pick up their kits at the U-Desk on the first floor of the Fred Nichols Campus Centre between Monday and Friday.

Second-Year September

The Kick-Off weekend is just the beginning - Laurier 201 has so many events coming up to welcome you to campus, we're calling it "Second-Year September". We'll post more events and registration information as we finalize the events, so check back often!

Students who are seeking extra academic support programming should check out the ASk certificate program – they are running lots of great virtual workshops for you to attend.

Due to the nature of COVID-19, we may be required to cancel or postpone our events on short notice. The Laurier 201 team is committed to communicating these changes to you via email and will provide necessary updates as soon as we are able to.
