Hey Second-Years, Wondering What Comes Next?

As we head into exam season and look towards the winter term, Laurier 201 is ready to welcome you back to campus full-time!

Wondering where to find your classes next term? 
We have you covered! Throughout December, you will have the opportunity to meet upper year-students and participate in a student experience tour around campus. Don't forget your class schedule! You can register for your tour below.

Coming to campus for the first time in January? 
Laurier 201 is offering a Winter Orientation Day on Monday, January 3. This day will be packed full of activities, workshops and tours to ensure you're ready for campus life. You'll also have the opportunity to attend social programming offered by Your Students' Union.

Winter Orientation Day is your chance to explore campus, find your classrooms, get re-introduced to campus resources and departments and get ready for in-person classes. Join our Laurier 101 and Laurier 201 teams as we welcome you to back to campus for the winter term. Whether you've been living in residence or will be attending campus for the first time, this day is for you. Pick up your textbooks, dust off your Onecard, and get ready to experience on-campus life at Laurier!

Welcome Kit Pick-Up

If you couldn't make the kick-off weekend and need to pick up your welcome kit, you can come to campus and grab it at your earliest convenience. 

Brantford students can pick up their kits at the Dean of Students Office in One Market 207-40 from Monday to Friday between 8:30 a.m - 4:30 p.m.

Waterloo students can pick up their kits at the U-Desk on the first floor of the Fred Nichols Campus Centre between Monday and Friday.

Student Experience Tours

Your Laurier 201 hosts will be offering personalized tours throughout the month of December to help you find your classes for the Winter term, discover all the hidden gems on campus, and answer any questions you have about campus life. Register for your tour below!

Due to the nature of COVID-19, we may be required to cancel or postpone our events on short notice. The Laurier 201 team is committed to communicating these changes to you via email and will provide necessary updates as soon as we are able to.

Waterloo Campus Tour Information
Tour Dates:
  • Friday Dec. 3 at 2 p.m
  • Saturday Dec. 4 at 2 p.m
  • Friday Dec. 10 at 2 p.m
  • Saturday Dec. 11 at 2 p.m
  • Friday Dec. 17 at 2 p.m
  • Saturday Dec. 18 at 2 p.m

Registration and tours will begin at Lazaridis Hall.

Proof of vaccination and COVID daily assessment badge will be required to participate in the tour. 

Register early! There are limited spots each day.

Brantford Campus Tour Information
Tour Dates:
  • Friday Dec. 3 at 2 p.m
  • Saturday Dec. 4 at 2 p.m
  • Friday Dec. 10 at 2 p.m
  • Saturday Dec. 11 at 2 p.m

Registration and tours will begin at the Research and Academic Center (RCW).
