Mental Health and Shame is an in-person group therapy program on the Waterloo campus for registered Laurier students that offers a research-based, transformative path towards understanding the emotional and mental impacts of chronic shame on your coping, functioning and sense self and why you stay stuck in chronic cycles of distress and shame.
This is a small, supportive group that will meet for ten weeks in the Summer 2026 semester.
During our time together you will be understood, validated and supported, and you will learn to:
Mental Health and Shame: Thrive in Graduate Studies will meet in person in on Wednesdays from 2 to 4 p.m. from May 20 until July 29, 2026 (we will not meet on July 1).
Mental Health and Shame: Thrive in Undergrad is for undergraduate students. We will meet in person on Thursdays from 2 to 4 p.m. from May 21 until July 23.
