Thrive is a week-long series of free events for students that focus on building positive mental health.  Events are running from Sunday October 21 to Friday October 26, 2018.

Sunday October 21

  • Get Active! Glow in the Dark Zumba in the Athletic Complex (AC) Multi Purpose Room 7pm-8pm

Monday October 22

  • Smoothies & Trail Mix Stations in the AC Lobby 10am
  • Nutritional Seminar in the AC Hawk Lounge 1pm-2pm
  • Time Management Workshop in the Wellness Education Centre (WEC) 3pm-4pm
  • Music & Meditation Location TBD 7:30pm-9pm
Tuesday October 23
  • Water Infusion Station in the Concourse 10am-4pm (Bring your own water bottle!)
  • Mental Health Resource Fair in the Concourse 10am-1pm
  • Get Active! Bench Workshop/Recovery in the AC Studio 3 12:30pm-1:30pm
  • Get Active! Perfect Your Form in the AC Studio 3 3pm-4pm
  • Get Active! High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) in the AC Studio 3 7pm-8pm
Wednesday October 24
  • Free Group Exercise classes in the Athletic Complex all day long!
  • Self Care & Resilience Workshop in the WEC 10am-11am
  • Chilling with Dogs at Martin Luther University College MPR 12pm-1pm
  • Get Active! Mood Walks walking group. Meet by the statue of Wilf 12:30pm-1:30pm
  • Get Active! Heels Class in the Athletic Complex 5:30pm-6:30pm
Thursday October 25
  • Living Your Best Life Share in the AC Lobby 10am-4pm
  • Grad Studies Can Be Stressful! Let’s Talk! in the WEC 10am-11am
  • Pop Up Art Therapy at Martin Luther University College 12pm-1pm
  • Self Care & Resilience Workshop in the WEC 2:30pm-3:30pm

Friday October 26

  • Fresh Fruit Friday Free in the WEC 10am-12pm
  • Stress Buster in the AC Multi Purpose Room 12pm-12:45pm
  • Meditation with MUSE Headphones in the AC Multi Purpose Room 1pm-2:30pm
  • Nap Session in the AC Multi Purpose Room 2:30-4pm (Get a FREE energy bite after the session!)
