    Seasonal Immunizations on Campus

    Oct. 11, 2024
    Print | PDF

Influenza is a serious respiratory disease that results in time away from work or school and can cause significant health complications for some people.  Ontario.ca has up-to-date information about influenza and the 2024/25 flu season.  The flu shot is free for Ontario residents and anyone with provincial health insurance or UHIP.

In November 2024, Rexall will be holding immunization clinics on the Brantford and Waterloo campus for influenza and COVID-19 vaccines.  The Rexall clinics are open to faculty, staff, and students.

    Brantford

Immunization clinics for COVID-19 and the flu shot will be held on Friday November 8 and Thursday November 14, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The clinics will be located in the Student Centre, in the basement of 103 Darling St, Branford, ON.
Book your appointment online.  Walk-in appointments are also available.

    Waterloo

Immunization clinics for COVD-19 and the flu shot will be held Monday, November 4 and Monday November 11, 2024 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
The clinics are located in the Senate and Board Chambers, beside the Paul Martin Centre.
Book your appointment online. Walk-in appointments are also available.

    Milton

Milton students can book flu shots at the Rexall Pharmacy at 6541 Derry Road in Milton or at any convenient Rexall location.

If you are not able to attend a Rexall clinic, registered students can call to book a flu shot in the Student Wellness Centre on the Brantford or Waterloo campus. COVID-19 vaccinations are not available on campus.

Don’t forget to bring your health card, wear a t-shirt, and plan to wait for 15 minutes after your injection.
