    The Career Centre presents Career Wellness Week at the Brantford campus, generously funded by the Student Life Levy. 

    Attend Career Wellness Week for a chance to win $100 added to your OneCard, plus other great prizes! Simply attend four events to be entered into the draw, with each additional event earning you an extra entry. Participation is easy - swipe your OneCard at in-person events or attend online events to track your attendance. The giveaway closes after the final event on Friday, March 7, and the winner will be drawn on Monday, March 10 and contacted via email.

    Thrift to Thrive: Crafting a Professional Look on a Budget

    • Join the Career Centre for an exciting and informative event designed to help you build a professional wardrobe for interviews and work, all on a budget! This session will provide valuable styling tips on how to create polished and professional looks using thrifted items, ensuring you're prepared for any interview situation. Learn about our soon-to-be-launched Career Clothing Closet. Our Career Centre staff will also be on hand to offer expert advice on interview preparation and share tips on how to succeed in your career journey. Whether you're preparing for an interview or attending a career event, we've got you covered with a variety of stylish and professional attire.

    Career Gratitude Journaling

    • Join us for a Career Gratitude journaling event. This drop-in event is designed to help reflect on your career journey while practicing gratitude and mindfulness. Start your own Career Gratitude Journal that focuses on celebrating your daily career wins, recognizing your strengths and growth areas, setting positive intentions for your future career success. Whether you're looking for career clarity, a little self-reflection, or just some mindfulness, this journaling session is the perfect way to align your personal well-being with your professional goals.

    Mock Interview Day

    • Mock Interview Day is an opportunity for you to practice interview questions and prepare for your next interview! This event is for undergraduate students only.
    • Free headshots for your LinkedIn profile or professional portfolio.

    Knowing Yourself: Exploring your Values and their Importance
    10:30 - 11:30 a.m. | In person at RCE 217

    • Start your day with some self-exploration, snacks, and a free journal! Knowing yourself, and your values, helps connect you with who you are, and helps you make decisions in line with your values. Join us for this interactive workshop, where we will explore why it is important to know your values, and how to get to know yourself and your values. You will come away from the workshop with an understanding of how your values informs your student journey, how it helps with staying well during stressful times, and tangible strategies.

    Building Confidence: Overcoming Self Doubt in Your Career Journey

    • In this workshop, participants will embark on a transformative journey to boost their self-confidence and minimize the habit of unfavourable comparisons. This interactive session offers practical tools and strategies to recognize and amplify personal achievements and capabilities. By fostering a positive self-image and understanding the value of their unique contributions, attendees will learn to navigate their career paths with assurance and determination.
