Bring your ideas to life in Laurier’s Library Makerspace or Science Maker Lab. These makerspaces are a place where students can design, experiment and invent alongside peers who share an interest in innovation. On-site equipment, including a 3D-printer, laser cutter and sewing machine, act as a provocation for innovation and are available to all students.

Through a model where learners become teachers, makerspaces offer a creative area for students to share ideas, knowledge and materials. Laurier’s makerspaces support inspired thinking and encourage students to make something, anything!

Apply the skills you have learned and practiced in our LaunchPad incubator where you will do it for real. LaunchPad provides the environment, resources and expert advice to bring your ideas to life.
