Certificates and Workshop Series

Many Laurier departments offer non-credit certificates or workshop series on a variety of topics from leadership, money management, student teaching, academic skills, career development, software and more. These certificates are included as part of your Laurier Experience Record. You can enrol in many of these certificates on Navigator or by contacting the host department. In addition, you can review any certificates you are in the process of completing and/or have completed in the past on Navigator.

Once you enrol, details about the individual sessions you are required to attend as part of the certificate will become available on Navigator. If you cannot attend one of the sessions at the first available date, check back in future semesters. Many of the certificates can be completed at any time during your academic career at Laurier.

When attending these sessions, be sure to bring your OneCard to verify your attendance.

You do not need to take any action to have these certificates added to your record. The host department provides a list of students who have completed the certificate to the Experience Record administrator at the end of each academic year and the certificate is then added to your Experience Record. As a student, you will not see a list of completed certificates/workshops series added to your record until mid-April.
