Canadian Conference on Student Leadership
- Nov. 24-26, 2016
The Canadian Conference on Student Leadership (CCSL) began in November 2006, when over 150 student leaders from across the country came together at Laurier for the inaugural CCSL conference. This event was a huge success and allowed Canada’s finest student leaders to discuss issues and ideas on leadership. Through a mix of professionally led workshops, student-led sessions, keynote speakers and various activities, the conference provided an opportunity for all those involved to develop their skill sets and develop new relationships and connections.
The 2016 CCSL conference will be hosted in November by Brock University and Niagara College.
- January 2017
This one-day leadership conference aims to support and enhance the culture of student leadership engagement; provide meaningful and quality leadership training and development to students; and strengthen the identity of a Laurier leader.
The upcoming summit will take place at Laurier's Waterloo campus on Saturday January 7, 2017. All Laurier students are welcome, regardless of campus, program or year of study. This year's theme is "Agents of Change" which reflects the Summit Steering Committee's belief that all Laurier students have the potential and capacity to lead positive social change in all aspects of their lives.
