As part of Laurier Orientation, LOCUS is excited to welcome first-year off-campus students attending our Brantford and Waterloo campuses to our Off-Campus Welcome Day! 

We want to make sure your first day on campus as a Golden Hawk is filled with opportunities to meet other first-year students and learn about life at Laurier. At the event, students will be able to connect with their upper-year mentors (Off-Campus Advisors and Icebreakers) for Orientation and the year ahead. 

Early bird registration is now open and will close on August 21st. The last day to register for the event is September 2nd. Click here to register today.

Below is an overview of our Off-Campus Welcome Day, scheduled for Sunday, September 6th, 2026, on the Brantford campus. This event will take place in our One Market Building on campus. When: 1 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. 

Welcome Mixer 

When: 1:30 p.m. to 2 p.m. 

Mentoring Cafe 

When: 2:10 p.m. to 2:55 p.m. 

Off-Campus Student Campus Tours 

When: 3 p.m. to 3:45 p.m. 

Choose Your Own Adventure Programming 

When: 3:45 p.m. to 5 p.m. 

Orientation Kit Pick-Up 

When: 5 p.m. to 5:45 p.m. 

Waterloo Campus
