Have you registered for Laurier’s enhanced Alert Notification System yet?

If you haven’t, provide your mobile number(s) through MyAlerts to opt-in to receive time-sensitive SMS Text Message alerts and enable SAFEHawk notifications on your devices as part of Laurier’s emergency procedures.

Alert Notification System Testing on Wed. Feb. 28

Special Constable Services (SCS) will be sending a test alert using Laurier email, SMS Text Message, and the SAFEHawk app alert modes on Wed. Feb. 28. The messaging will indicate that this is a test and no action is required.

For the email notification, check both your “Focused” and “Other” inbox in case the email is delivered to the “Other” inbox. This is based on user behaviour and how you interact with your emails (i.e. Microsoft functionality). If this does occur, follow these steps to move messages to the “Focused” inbox. Alternatively, you can turn off email sorting to the "focused" and "other inboxes" by following the instructions on Microsoft's Turn off Focused Inbox page. 

You will receive an SMS Text alert and SAFEHawk app push notification if you have registered for and enabled these options.
