Test for digital signage notifications on Friday, Sept. 13, 2024

Special Constable Service (SCS) is pleased to announce the latest addition to Laurier’s enhanced alert notification system: Digital signage notifications. This new alert mode enhances the campus-wide alerts as part of Laurier’s emergency procedures.

SCS will send a digital signage notification test alert from Laurier’s alert notification system on Friday, Sept.13, 2024 after 6:30 a.m. The messaging will indicate that it is a test and no action is required.

This test alert will not include other alert modes such as email, SMS text message, desktop notification, or SAFEHawk app push notification.

Have you registered for Laurier’s enhanced alert notification system yet? If you haven’t, provide your mobile number(s) through MyAlerts to opt-in to receive time-sensitive SMS Text Message alerts and enable SAFEHawk notifications on your devices as part of Laurier’s emergency procedures.
