Faculty and Staff

The department chair is the principal administrative officer of the department. They are responsible for carrying out the department’s decisions (including academic policies). The chair represents the department and is the liaison to the Faculty of Arts. Academic issues can be referred to the chair who will help resolve the matter or offer advice on how to proceed. Global Studies’ current chair is Ali Zaidi (DAWB 5-120A; x3698; azaidi@wlu.ca).

The undergraduate academic advisor assists students with course selection, program requirements, and academic advice. The current GS academic advisor is Dr. Ehaab Abdou (gsadvisor@wlu.ca).
