Lewis and Arthur Stephen Award in Military History

Eligible candidates will be entering the full-time Master of Arts (MA) in History program.

The recipient must be a Canadian citizen, Permanent Resident (landed immigrant) or Protected Person; long-term residents of Ontario; with proven financial need.

The intention of this award is to recognize an applicant who can demonstrate a keen interest in military history and who seeks to pursue that interest in the MA program by intending to complete a thesis or major research paper in the area of military history.

Applicants will be assessed based on the breadth of their past studies in the area, their academic record, and their stated goals in the MA program, as outlined in their application for admission.

This award is administered through the Student Awards Office.
