    Instructional Assistant Positions (PS295A Labs)

    The Department of Psychology has a need for FIVE fourth-year honours Psychology students  for the fall term to assist with PS295 (Intro to Research Methods). Instructional Assistants must be available for ONE of following lab sections:

    LAB 12 – Thursdays 7:00 – 8:20 pm (Waterloo Campus)
    LAB 15 – Tuesdays 8:30 – 9:50 pm (Waterloo Campus)
    LAB 17 – Thursdays 8:30 – 9:50 pm (Waterloo Campus)
    LAB 18 – Mondays 8:30 – 9:50 pm (Waterloo Campus)

    LABML1 – Tuesdays 4:00 – 5:00 pm (Milton Campus)

    Qualifications
    Applicants must be fourth-year psychology students with a  minimum GPA of 10 and must have successfully completed PS295 (Intro to Research Methods) and PS296 (Intro to Statistics)  with an A or A+ grade to be considered for these positions. Applicants must also be reliable and detail-oriented individuls.

    Duties/Hours of Work
    Responsibilities include running a weekly lab (in-person, 80 minutes), grading five major assignments, and answering student inquiries. The position begins immediately, requires up to 10 hours of work per week (130 hours total for the term.

    Rate of Pay
    The rate of pay is $27.81/hour.
