Career Clothing Closet

Preparing for an interview, job fair, co-op, networking event, or your first professional role? The Career Clothing Closet provides Laurier students with free access to professional clothing to help you feel confident and prepared for your next opportunity.

The closet is stocked with gently used, professional clothing in various sizes and styles. All items have been generously donated by the campus community.

Available items may include:

dress shirts and sweaters
pants and skirts
blazers and jackets
shoes and accessories

How it works

Students can visit the Career Clothing Closet to:

Browse available professional clothing.
Try on items in a private fitting room.
Select up to three items per term, depending on student demand, at no cost.

Inventory will vary based on donations and availability. New items will be added throughout the year as donations are received.

One Market, OM 206-40, Brantford

Tuesdays: 1 - 3 p.m.
Wednesdays: 1 - 3 p.m.
Thursdays: 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.

Career Centre, Waterloo Campus

Professional clothing can play an important role in helping students feel prepared and confident during career-related experiences. The Career Clothing Closet helps reduce financial barriers while promoting sustainability through clothing reuse.

Clothing Donations

Donations help ensure students have access to a diverse selection of professional attire while giving clothing a second life. Staff and faculty can learn more about donating items on Connect.

The Career Clothing Closet is generously funded by the Student Life Levy in Brantford and the Sustainable Hawk Fund in Waterloo.
