Department of Residence

2021/22 Academic Year

Welcome to Residence at Laurier! We are looking forward to welcoming you to residence in the fall 2021 semester!

The accelerating vaccine rollout in Canada promises us a return to some normalcy in the coming months. With this optimistic outlook, academic and administrative leaders across Laurier have begun preparing for a gradual, phased and safe return to in-person activities on our campuses for fall 2021 and winter 2022 terms.

Residence on both the Waterloo and Brantford campuses will have full occupancy in September, including double occupancy dormitory-style rooms. Laurier is prioritizing in-person programming throughout the fall term, while respecting public health guidelines. We're working to make sure there are as many opportunities to connect as possible.

There are so many opportunities available to first-year residence students like you. Make the most out of your first year by getting involved - you'll make a difference at Laurier and in the larger community, build skills, gain valuable experiences, grow personally and academically, and make new friends.

Please continue to monitor our website for residence updates.

Roommate Match Up

Connect with other students who are interested in off-campus housing by attending a Roommate Match Up session, hosted by LOCUS.

Finding a Place to Live

Students studying on the Waterloo campus may also wish to visit Ezra-Bricker Student Apartments to assist in their search for off-campus rental accommodations. Ezra-Bricker Student Apartments have a number of properties that are close to the campus and are owned by Laurier, but are managed by Campus Living Centres.
