As the Manager of Student Care and Support on the Brantford Campus, I am dedicated to holistic student success by overseeing care and support services for the Brantford campus. I connect students with on- and off-campus resources, collaborate across departments to provide sensitive, efficient support, and bring global teaching and travel experiences to my work as both an alumnus and faculty member. Outside of work, I enjoy time with my family, pets, markets, wineries, and planning new adventures.

I also work with campus partners to develop social, academic, and wellness programming for Black and Racialized students, ensuring access to resources and support. Outside of work, I enjoy travelling, golfing, cooking, and spending time with loved ones.

With experience in student care, social services, and research on anti-Black racism, I am passionate about social justice and creating positive change. Outside of work, I enjoy time with my dogs, basketball, anime, and gaming.

No matter the situation, I am here to listen and guide you toward solutions. I strive to foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where students feel empowered to seek support and thrive. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, biking, hiking, reading, crocheting, and spending time outdoors.

My goal is to make challenging times easier so students can focus on being well. Outside work, I enjoy spending time with my family and two young kids, and spending time outdoors.

Navigating Unexpected Financial Emergencies

In the face of unexpected financial emergencies, it is not uncommon to feel overwhelmed. Please know you do not have to walk this journey alone. If you are experiencing an unexpected financial crisis, there are several supports and options that may be helpful. 

  • Meet your basic needs: At Laurier, there are several programs which are designed to support students in meeting basic needs such as food, housing and supplies.
