Visitor and Temporary Parking

Temporary Student Residence Parking

If you are a residence student intending to temporarily bring a vehicle to you campus, we offer temporary residence parking permits. These allow for 24-hour parking in a designated parking lot. Temporary residence permits may be purchased (pending availability) for periods ranging from 24 hours to one month and are lot specific. See parking fees for prices. Please be advised we have very limited capacity and these requests are limited to students residing in residence.

Contact the Parking office via email parking@wlu.ca for more information. Permits are available for purchase in our office or an e-permit can be requested. Please note we only have the ability to process your request Monday - Friday 8:30-4:00 pm.

Visitor parking is available in the City of Brantford municipal parking lots as well as limited street parking.  Please visit Downtown Municipal Parking lots to view the street-level parking lots and one three-level parkade.

Street Parking

Limited On-Street Parking is available. Street parking has a two- to three-hour limit with no re-parking on the same street. Familiarize yourself with Brantford's Parking Regulations as the City Parking Enforcement Office patrols regularly.

The City of Kitchener provides convenient, safe and accessible parking facilities downtown. There are over 3,000 off-street parking spaces and over 350 free two-hour on-street parking opportunities. A toonie ($2 coin) in any one of the parking structures buys you a maximum of three hours.

A downtown parking map has been created to show students and visitors the variety of parking options (underground or street level) available in the area.
