Master of Finance

As a student in our Master of Finance (MFin) program, you have unparalleled access to some of the world’s top finance professors. Each year, about 25 students enter our full-time programs in Waterloo and up to 15 students enter our part-time programs downtown Toronto. Our faculty are addressing some of the most pressing issues in finance today, and are leading in research issues such as corporate finance, options pricing, fixed income securities, market microstructure and insurance.

MFin courses are designed to be both conceptually rigorous and sufficiently applied such that our students will be job-ready for finance careers both on Bay Street and in the wider corporate sector. Further supporting this education is the country’s largest business co-op degree program.

Our grads are sought after by leading finance companies such as Fidelity Investments, Gluskin Sheff, Scotia Capital, TD Bank Financial Group, and GE Capital, and by corporations such as Bell, Loblaws and Procter & Gamble.

CFA Institute

The Lazaridis MFin is part of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) University Affiliation Program. Our programs incorporate more than 70% of the CFA Program Candidate Body of Knowledge (CBOK), which provides you with a solid grounding in CBOK and positions you well to sit for the CFA exams. Our pass rates have consistently surpassed the global pass rates.
