Student Experience

Three students enjoying campus outsite

Your connection to community, campus life and thriving outside the classroom.

At Laurier, we know your student experience goes far beyond our lecture halls. It’s about discovering who you are, making connections with fellow students, and building your sense of community. That’s where we come in.

The Student Experience department is your entry point to all things student life – a central hub for events, programs, supports, and opportunities to help you make the most of your time as a Golden Hawk.

Follow @studentlifeatlaurier on Instagram where we work closely with your peers to bring you the information you want and need to know, when you want and need to know it.

What We Do

We’re here to help you thrive outside the classroom by:

  • Hosting exciting events and legacy experiences.
  • Supporting community-building and overall wellness promotion through fun, meaningful, and inclusive programming.
  • Offering tailored supports for a variety of student groups, including graduating students, second-year students, students living off-campus, and non-traditional students.
  • Providing leadership experiences that help you gain real-world experience and develop your mentorship skills.

We’re always listening and evolving to reflect what students actually want and need. When something’s missing, we help address the gaps and fill them with opportunities to connect, lead, grow, and just enjoy being a student!
