PhD in Educational Studies

Welcome to the PhD in Educational Studies program at the Faculty of Education.

This page provides quick access to information and resources commonly used by current PhD students. Detailed information about program requirements, milestones, policies, forms, and student supports can be found in the PhD Student Handbook and the Graduate Hub.

The PhD program is offered through both full-time and flex-time pathways. Students in both pathways normally complete their doctoral coursework during the first year of study before progressing toward candidacy and dissertation research. The flex-time pathway is designed for working professionals who require greater flexibility while completing their dissertation. Following successful completion of candidacy requirements, flex-time students may transition to part-time registration while completing their dissertation.
