Wellness Education offers a certificate program related to staying well while you are here at Laurier. The Wellness Education Certificate is not only great for learning more strategies to stay well, but also to add to your Laurier Experience Record or resume.
Earning the Wellness Education Certificate demonstrates a commitment to health and well-being, as well as an enhanced knowledge and understanding of wellness and the ways it affects your overall experience.
The Wellness Education Certificate consists of five one-hour workshops: Taking Charge of Your Wellness, plus any four electives.
Learn about holistic wellness, and how you can take a proactive, preventative approach to build wellness in each of the seven dimensions of wellness.

Have you ever wondered, what is part of physical wellness? In this interactive workshop, we will explore physical wellness, like the importance of movement and nutrition, and sexual health. You will bust myths and develop practical tips and strategies to support our physical wellness.

Ever notice how stress, conflict, or anxiety can make you feel like you’re about to fall apart? You’re not alone—and you don’t have to power through it without tools. Learn what triggers a stress response and learn practical grounding techniques to calm the mind and body you can use anywhere - before exams, during tough conversations, or when everything just feels like it's too much. Cookies will be served, because self-regulation is better with snacks. Spaces are limited and available on a first come, first serve basis.

Complete the short Reflection Questionnaire on Navigator.
Download your PDF certificate from Navigator. In the certificate, select the action circle in the bottom right corner, then Print/Download.
Your attendance will be tracked in Navigator. It may take a few weeks for your workshop completion to be uploaded to Navigator.
